Porsche has every chance of successfully defending both its teams’ and manufacturers’ titles, but one rival is beginning to pounce.
Porsche Formula E team principal Florian Modlinger emphasizes the importance of “focusing on ourselves” as they aim to defend their teams’ and manufacturers’ titles.
With six rounds completed and 11 races remaining after the recent Madrid E-Prix, the Weissach-based team is in a strong position to secure multiple championships this season.
Starting as the reigning teams’ and manufacturers’ champion, Porsche currently leads both standings, with their driver Pascal Wehrlein also leading the drivers’ title race.
As Porsche prepares for the Berlin double-header, they hold a four-point advantage over Jaguar in the teams’ standings and a one-point lead overall in the manufacturers’ championship.
Despite Jaguar’s recent strong performances, Modlinger remains cautious, acknowledging the competitiveness of all teams in the Formula E championship and focusing on Porsche’s own performance to secure victories on different types of tracks.
