George Russell finished first in the final practice session of the Australian Grand Prix with the fastest lap, showing Mercedes’ dominance.
He was six-tenths of a second faster than his closest rival, demonstrating his strong performance.
The practice session was interrupted twice by red flags – Carlos Sainz stopped at the pit lane entry, and Kimi Antonelli had a major crash.
Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc were second and third for Ferrari, while Australian driver Oscar Piastri finished in fourth place.
