Sky Sports F1 part ways with controversial pundit ahead of 2026 season

A member of the Sky Sports F1 punditry team will not be returning ahead of the 2026 season.

Sky Sports F1 has confirmed the departure of Danica Patrick from its pool of pundits for the 2026 season. Patrick joined as a pundit before the 2021 United States GP and made her last appearance during the 2025 US Grand Prix weekend. Despite her fame as a former IndyCar and NASCAR star, Patrick has chosen to focus on other projects and will not be returning for the upcoming season. Her tenure as a pundit coincided with the global growth of F1, particularly in the US, where three grands prix now take place. While the rest of the Sky F1 pundit pool remains unchanged, Patrick’s absence marks a significant shift in the lineup for the upcoming season.
