Mercedes enter the new F1 season as a favourite to fight at the front of the field.
Mercedes team principal Toto Wolff expressed relief that their car performed well at pre-season testing, after struggling with the previous regulations.
The team faced challenges in the last cycle, but the new technical regulations for this season brought a welcome change.
Mercedes completed the most mileage in testing and is expected to be strong at the start of the season.
Wolff mentioned that this year’s preparations differ significantly from previous years as they aim to regain competitiveness.
Although uncertain about the competition’s layout, he is confident Mercedes can be among the frontrunners in the upcoming races.
