The weekend format for the new Bagger World Cup has been revealed
MotoGP has unveiled a provisional weekend format for the new Harley-Davidson Bagger World Cup, set to premiere at select grand prix rounds in 2026. The collaboration between Dorna Sports and Harley-Davidson aims to boost MotoGP’s presence in the US and Harley-Davidson’s in Europe, following their partnership announcement at the end of the 2024 season. In the upcoming Bagger World Cup, scheduled for six rounds in 2026, there will be two 20-minute practice sessions on Fridays and qualifying plus two races over either seven or nine laps during the weekend. The Italian Grand Prix will feature a modified format with FP1, FP2, and qualifying on Friday, and both races on Saturday. The calendar includes races at the Americas, Italy, the Netherlands, Britain, Aragon, and Austria, with Niti Racing announced as a new participant. The full list of teams such as Niti Racing, Saddlemen Race Development, Cecchini Racing Garage, and Joe Rascal Racing, with the latter expanding to a three-rider lineup, sets the stage for an exciting competition in the Bagger World Cup.
