The North West 200 says it generated over £20 million of “economic benefit” in 2025.
The 2025 edition of the North West 200 generated over £20 million of economic benefit, according to the Economic Impact & Tourism Report 2025 by Professional Event Solutions.
Northern Ireland Media Monitoring Service reported that the event also generated £58 million of media exposure and destination marketing.
The event saw more than 100,000 fans attending, with 26% of them coming from outside Northern Ireland, making it a significant international event.
The Briggs Equipment North West 200 received acclaim for its global reach and economic impact, leading to awards at the Causeway Chamber of Commerce Business Awards.
The success of the 2025 edition has prompted excitement for the upcoming 2026 edition scheduled for May 4-9, showcasing top riders like Michael Dunlop and Davey Todd.
