Ferrari driver Lewis Hamilton expressed his frustration with the balance of his Formula 1 car after struggling during the first two practice sessions for the Hungarian Grand Prix. Despite finishing fifth and sixth in the sessions, he was significantly slower than his teammate Charles Leclerc. Hamilton, known for his success at the Hungaroring, mentioned that the car’s balance felt different this year compared to previous seasons. He holds numerous records at the track, making his difficulties even more unexpected. The British driver tried different setups to improve the car’s balance but found it inconsistent and out of control. Hamilton seemed doubtful about his chances for a strong qualifying position, acknowledging Leclerc’s better performance and his own struggles.
