History in the Making: Sam Mayer Secures Historic Victory for Haas Factory Team in Xfinity Series

Sam Mayer earned his first victory of the 2025 NASCAR Xfinity season after chaotic restarts and fluid on track helped him fight his way into the race lead. This win also marked the first victory for team owner Gene Haas since reorganizing into the Haas Factory Team. Mayer’s win at Iowa Speedway was his eighth career victory, showcasing his skill across different race teams.

Jesse Love finished second, with Ross Chastain in third after leading most of the laps. Connor Zilisch placed fourth, while Harrison Burton secured a strong fifth-place finish. Carson Hocevar, Sheldon Creed, Ryan Sieg, Carson Kvapil, and Christian Eckes completed the top ten positions.

During Stages 1 and 2, minor incidents occurred, with Zilisch claiming the stage win. Chastain took control in the later stages, eventually winning his first stage in the Xfinity Series since October 2020.

In Stage 3, Chastain continued his dominance, with Jones experiencing setbacks after a pit road violation. Despite challenges from other drivers, Chastain held onto the lead and eventually secured his victory. The race witnessed strategic pit stops and dramatic moments, showcasing the fierce competition among NASCAR Xfinity drivers.
