As the current WRC2 points leader, Solberg is eager to make his return to the WRC’s top tier driving the Toyota GR Yaris Rally1 car after being given the opportunity by Toyota.
Having recently tested the GR Yaris Rally1 car for the first time on gravel roads in Finland during a pre-event session with the Toyota team, Solberg described the experience as a dream come true and the coolest thing he has ever done.
Solberg, at the age of 23, feels a mix of nerves and excitement but is focused on learning and improving gradually as he gears up for Rally Estonia.
