Trackhouse Racing entered NASCAR five years ago with Daniel Suarez as their only driver, but has since grown to three full-time cars and a part-time entry. Despite winning 11 races, Suarez only accounts for two victories and is now the only one of their drivers yet to win in 2025, placing him at the bottom of the team’s regular season rankings. Recently, Suarez expressed feeling undervalued by the team due to his ideas being ignored and a lack of chemistry.
Team owner Justin Marks explained the decision to part ways with Suarez as necessary for the team’s future growth and opportunities. Marks acknowledged Suarez’s contributions but emphasized the need to evolve and explore new possibilities. The team is speculated to promote young talent Connor Zilisch in 2026, potentially taking over Suarez’s No. 99 Chevrolet.
