Despite his experience, Alonso stressed the importance of relying on the team’s data during mixed-weather conditions, emphasizing that it’s a data-driven race rather than the driver making decisions. Aston Martin boss Andy Cowell defended the team’s strategy, denying any issues with Alonso’s side of the garage.
