Sebastien Ogier will compete in Rally Finland as part of his 2025 World Rally Championship campaign, choosing to skip Rally Estonia. This will be his sixth WRC start of the season, joining Toyota’s five-car lineup alongside Kalle Rovanpera, Elfyn Evans, Takamoto Katsuta, and Sami Pajari. Ogier hinted at his Finland participation after finishing second in the Acropolis Rally Greece, where he plans to return after his 2024 victory.
Despite not finalizing his schedule post-Finland, Ogier mentioned a potential appearance in Chile in September, possibly making it his seventh WRC start this year. He clarified that he won’t repeat last year’s extensive participation in 10 rounds at Toyota’s request. Currently second in the standings, only nine points behind Elfyn Evans, Ogier’s strong performances in Monte Carlo, Portugal, and Sardinia solidify his title contention, with consistently impressive results in the Canary Islands and Greece. Ogier noted the competitive points average this season, acknowledging Ott Tanak’s victory at the Acropolis Rally Greece while maintaining focus on his own consistent performance.
