Osborne’s crazy Oulton Mini weekend as Bearman takes first British F4 win

Jamie Osborne was dominant in the Mini Challenge season’s opening weekends, but faced problems at Oulton Park, giving others a chance to shine. Despite a 64-point lead, fuel system issues during qualifying put his advantage at risk. Osborne started from the back due to a red-flagged session and had a tough race one, finishing 16th. Max Edmundson emerged as the star, winning his maiden Mini race after an eventful battle with front-runners.

On Sunday, Osborne made an impressive comeback, gaining nine places from the back to finish second in challenging conditions. Despite intense pressure on his teammate Lewis Selby, Osborne narrowly missed the win by 0.223 seconds. Tom Bradshaw also had a successful weekend in the Porsche Sprint Challenge GB at Oulton Park, narrowly missing a hat-trick of wins but still moving into the points lead with dominant performances.
