Ogura Makes Thrilling Comeback at MotoGP Italian Grand Prix

Japanese rider Ai Ogura has been cleared to race in the Italian Grand Prix after undergoing medical checks at the Mugello track.

Ogura fractured his right tibia during a crash at Silverstone and had to miss the Aragon and British Grand Prix races as a result.

Following surgery on his leg, his recovery has been progressing smoothly with no permanent impact from the injuries.

Despite not being able to do any fitness or bike training, Ogura stated that he feels no pain and is confident in his mobility.

Entering the weekend as a bit of an unknown due to his time off, Ogura will have to navigate the high-speed corners at Mugello, which he is not particularly fond of.

He missed the Monday test day following the Aragon Grand Prix, but Moto2 points leader Manuel Gonzalez tested his bike and reportedly impressed many with his fast lap times.

Overall, Ogura is optimistic about his return and looks forward to getting back on track for the Italian Grand Prix.
