James Vowles, the team principal of Williams Formula 1, has agreed to a new long-term contract with the team. Since joining from Mercedes in 2023, Vowles has made significant strides in restructuring the team and securing strong drivers like Carlos Sainz. Williams is currently in fifth place in the constructors’ championship with more points than in the past three seasons combined. Vowles is dedicated to leading the team towards winning its first F1 title since 1997. Both Vowles and the team are focused on building on their legacy and aiming for future success in the championship. Chairman Matthew Savage expressed excitement about the progress made under Vowles’ leadership and looks forward to what the future holds for Williams Racing.
