Canadian Grand Prix Secures Place on Formula 1 Calendar for the Next 15 Years

Formula 1 has extended its contract with the promoters of the Canadian Grand Prix until 2035, securing the Montreal race’s presence on the calendar for another decade. The agreement includes an extension of Bell Media’s media rights deal.

F1 Chief Stefano Domenicali highlighted the race’s historic significance and paid tribute to Montreal’s vibrant atmosphere and passionate fans, expressing excitement for the upcoming years.

The head of the race, Jean-Philippe Paradis, emphasized the importance of the event’s continuation in Montreal, citing its iconic status, unique city setting, and global appeal.

Montreal’s Grand Prix will undergo improvements over the next three years to enhance the overall experience for fans and address operational challenges, aiming to elevate the event to a top-tier status in the F1 calendar.
