Ferrari achieved its third consecutive victory at the Le Mans 24 Hours, marking a significant comeback in the sportscar arena. The 2025 win was unique as a customer car, the yellow Ferrari run by AF Corse, clinched the victory in a dominant fashion. The winning 499P Le Mans Hypercar, driven by Kubica, Ye, and Hanson, displayed exceptional performance by leading 277 of the event’s 387 laps.
The victory margin was closer than previous years, with a mere fraction separating their win from the last year’s time. Despite challenges and penalties faced by the Ferrari team during the race, their speed and consistency propelled them to success. The race debunked predictions of a competitive field, as key competitors like Toyota, Cadillac, Alpine, and BMW were not in contention, leaving Ferrari in a commanding position.
Kubica’s remarkable pace and strategic driving played a significant role in securing Ferrari’s victory, highlighting the team’s overall performance. The individual efforts of drivers such as Kubica, Fuoco, Giovinazzi, and others contributed to Ferrari’s overall success at the 93rd edition of the Le Mans 24 Hours.
