The Road to Redemption: Lewis Hamilton sets sights on podium at Canadian GP amidst fierce competition

Lewis Hamilton is feeling optimistic after qualifying fifth for the Formula 1 Canadian Grand Prix, but acknowledges that he is far from comfortable with the car, despite beating Ferrari team-mate Charles Leclerc.

He feels that a clean run through qualifying has been helpful, with previous sessions having various issues like floor or wing problems causing downforce issues.

He remains hopeful that their race pace will be good and aims for the podium, although he acknowledges that upgrades are ultimately needed for them to compete at the front.
