The Need for Speed: Mathieu Jaminet Leads the Charge for Porsche at Le Mans 24 Hours

Mathieu Jaminet from Porsche Penske Motorsport led Free Practice 3 ahead of 24 Hours of Le Mans, setting a lap time of 3m24.717s.

There was a brief evacuation of the circuit’s media center due to a fire alarm during Jaminet’s fast lap, which created a temporary disruption.

Cadillac Jota secured the second and third positions with drivers Earl Bamber (#38) and Will Stevens (#12) closely behind Jaminet’s Porsche.

The majority of the session was topped by the #51 Ferrari driven by Antonio Giovinazzi, but ultimately dropped to fourth place.

The LMP2 class was topped by Mathias Beche in TDS Racing’s #29 ORECA-Gibson 07, showcasing competitive performances across various teams.

In LMGT3, Zacharie Robichon’s #27 Aston Martin led the session, with several other cars also posting impressive times, surpassing the previous day’s qualifying pace.
