Ferrari has announced that they plan to keep the same lineup of drivers for their 2026 World Endurance Championship campaign in the two factory 499P Le Mans Hypercars.
Antonello Coletta, Ferrari’s sportscar racing boss, emphasized the importance of stability in the AF Corse-run works Hypercar team’s driver lineup.
Coletta stated during Le Mans 24 Hours week that they have no intention of changing the drivers and hope to maintain the same team for upcoming seasons.
While Coletta expressed their happiness with the current drivers and their achievements, he mentioned that it’s premature to confirm the line-ups for the next season until after Le Mans.
The Hypercar driver market is evolving with the entry of new manufacturers like Genesis, McLaren, and Ford, creating competitive opportunities for drivers.
Ferrari has renewed the contracts of several drivers, indicating a commitment to long-term agreements without specifying exact terms or durations.
