Aston Martin Formula 1 driver Lance Stroll will make his comeback at his home Canadian Grand Prix in Montreal following a successful treatment for a hand injury he sustained. Stroll had to withdraw from the Spanish Grand Prix due to worsening pain in his right hand that necessitated medical attention. The Canadian driver underwent a surgery on a wrist he had broken in a cycling accident two years ago and has been given the green light to race after testing an older F1 car at Paul Ricard track in France. Aston Martin confirmed Stroll’s return and stated that he is fit and eager to compete in front of his home crowd. Stroll expressed his excitement about getting back on track for his local Grand Prix following his recovery and practice sessions at Paul Ricard. The team had a TPC test planned in France, providing a chance to assess Stroll’s readiness for returning to competitive racing.
