Following his strong performance in the Aragon feature race where he finished eighth, Aprilia rider Marco Bezzecchi is optimistic about the bike’s progress and the team’s development. Bezzecchi showcased his skills by moving up from 20th on the grid to finish 8th in the race, demonstrating his ability to make progress in the pack. He continued this trend at Silverstone, claiming victory after race leader Fabio Quartararo retired. Despite his success, Bezzecchi expressed some frustration about not being able to focus solely on qualifying due to being involved in bike development. His teammate, Lorenzo Savadori, also emphasized the need for improvement in qualifying, highlighting the team’s commitment to progress. Bezzecchi acknowledged the ongoing challenges but praised the team’s hard work and the bike’s continuous improvement, setting a positive tone as they head into testing at Aragon.
