Sebastien Ogier: Dominating the WRC Arena with Unprecedented Grace and Excellence

Sebastien Ogier has confirmed that he is not planning to participate in a full World Rally Championship season, despite his recent victory in Sardinia which elevated him to the second position in the standings.

Having won three out of four races in a part-time campaign for Toyota, Ogier is currently only 19 points behind the championship leader, Elfyn Evans, and has no intention of adding more events to his schedule.

Toyota team principal Jari-Matti Latvala hinted that Ogier might be asked to compete in more rallies given his strong position in the championship, but Ogier emphasized that he is looking forward to a break after the upcoming rally in Greece.

Ogier’s victory in Sardinia marked his fifth win at the event, making him the most successful driver in its history, despite facing tough conditions and a half-spin on the final Power Stage that cost him some valuable time.
