Sebastien Ogier will start the final day of Rally Italy Sardinia with an 11.1s lead after a challenging Saturday that saw troubles for many World Rally Championship crews. Ogier and Ott Tanak engaged in a tense battle amidst high puncture risks, with Tanak showing determination by winning two afternoon stages. Despite suffering a puncture, Ogier maintained his lead, winning the final stage of the day. Toyota’s Kalle Rovanpera, alongside Ogier, avoided issues to hold onto third place. While teammates Evans, Katsuta, and Pajari faced difficulties, Evans managed to move up to fourth after their time losses. Adrien Fourmaux had a tough day with a puncture and a rollover, impacting his position in the rally standings.
