Two-time British Touring Car Championship race winner Senna Proctor is returning to the series ahead of schedule for the Thruxton weekend.
Proctor, a 26-year-old Yorkshireman, was initially set to join the Excelr8 Motorsport Hyundai team from the Croft round in August.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, Michael Crees stepped down early, allowing TCR UK racer Ryan Bensley to fill in temporarily.
Proctor’s contract has now been expanded to include Thruxton and Oulton Park in addition to the original five events.
He reunites with Excelr8 team-mates, driving the same Hyundai chassis he used in the 2020 season.
Proctor aims to leverage his experience and previous success to secure strong results while eyeing a full-time return in 2026.
