Oscar Piastri secured McLaren a 1-2 victory at the Formula 1 Spanish Grand Prix, with Lando Norris finishing behind him. Max Verstappen was penalized and demoted to 10th place after a battle with Charles Leclerc and George Russell.
Piastri held the lead from pole position, with Verstappen initially overtaking Norris. There was intense competition between Ferraris and Mercedes cars, with Lewis Hamilton leading the pack and Leclerc moving up to challenge Russell.
Verstappen lost his position to Norris early in the race but managed to regain the lead after a strategic pit stop. However, he struggled with grip issues and eventually fell behind the McLarens.
Despite a strong effort from Verstappen with multiple pit stops, Norris and Piastri maintained their positions at the top. Verstappen’s last attempt to overtake on hard tires proved unsuccessful, and he finished in 10th place.
