Aston Martin driver Lance Stroll received a one-place grid drop at the Monaco Grand Prix due to a collision with Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc during practice.
The incident occurred when Stroll moved towards the racing line, causing Leclerc to crash into him at the hairpin.
Following the collision, Stroll’s session was ended due to rear suspension damage and a necessary gearbox change.
Stewards deemed Stroll at fault for the incident and issued him a grid penalty and a penalty point on his super license.
Leclerc was able to return to the track and set the fastest time of the session with Stroll being penalized.
