Pedro Acosta has decided to stay neutral in the dispute between Aprilia and Jorge Martin, with the current MotoGP champion planning to leave his team after this season. Despite sharing the same agent, Albert Valera, Acosta is staying out of his colleague’s troubles to avoid any complications. He made it clear that he does not want to get involved in their issues until Martin and Valera clarify the situation. Acosta is also facing speculations about leaving KTM early due to the team’s struggles on the track, with a potential move to VR46 in the air. However, he emphasized his commitment to KTM for another year and expressed optimism about the progress they are making since the Qatar Grand Prix. Acosta also addressed the financial concerns surrounding KTM, stating that as long as it does not impact racing, he is focused on his performance. Additionally, he commented on Maverick Viñales’ regrets about leaving Yamaha and Francesco Bagnaia’s emphasis on fulfilling contracts, highlighting the complexities of decisions in the competitive world of MotoGP.
