On Tuesday, the voting panel selected Kurt Busch and Harry Gant from the Modern Era Ballot and Ray Hendrick from the Pioneer Ballot for induction into the Hall of Fame. Busch and Gant both received 61% of the Modern Era ballot votes, while Hendrick secured 31% of the Pioneer ballot votes.
Kurt Busch, a first-ballot nominee, is being honored for his impressive career that includes 34 Cup wins and victories in various series like Xfinity and Trucks. Harry Gant, the oldest NASCAR Cup Series race winner, achieved 18 Cup wins and held the nickname ‘Mr. September’ for his success during that month.
Ray Hendrick, known as the “Mr. Modified,” won over 700 Modified and Late Model races during his dominating career and has been previously recognized as one of NASCAR’s best drivers. The Class of 2026 Induction Ceremony will be held on Jan. 23, 2026, at the NASCAR Hall of Fame in Charlotte, North Carolina.
