Red Bull Sounds Alarm: McLaren’s F1 Drivers at Risk of Self-Interest Conflict!

Red Bull team principal Christian Horner expressed concerns over McLaren’s two drivers potentially prioritizing self-interest over team goals in Formula 1, which could negatively impact the Woking-based team. Horner highlighted a situation at the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix where McLaren allowed their drivers Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri to race each other, resulting in Max Verstappen maintaining his lead. Despite Norris eventually passing Piastri, Horner praised both McLaren drivers for their clean racing. Red Bull, which showed strong pace at Imola, managed to control the race effectively with Verstappen’s strategic driving and tire management. Horner was pleased with Red Bull’s performance, noting that their ability to cover their rivals’ threats was a positive sign for the team.
