Over the past decade, B.J. McLeod has gained respect in NASCAR as a field-filler, starting 146 Cup races in underfunded equipment. His best finish was seventh place at Daytona in 2022. Despite being a driver/owner at Live Fast Motorsports, McLeod recently sold his Cup charter to Spire Motorsports for around $40 million.
Now, McLeod is seizing a new opportunity to race competitively with Spire Motorsports in the Truck Series at Charlotte. He will drive the No. 07 Spire Chevrolet Silverado with ‘Pigeon Forge Racing Coaster’ as the primary sponsor. McLeod expressed his excitement for this race and partnership, aiming to deliver an unforgettable performance for fans.
Spire Motorsports has become a dominant force in the Truck Series, winning races with top-tier drivers like Kyle Larson and William Byron. McLeod joins a strong team that has already celebrated Victory Lane this year, and he hopes to contribute to their success in his upcoming race at Charlotte.
