Unprecedented Collaboration: Jimmie Johnson Teams Up with Tom Brady for Thrilling Two-Seater at Indy 500

Jimmie Johnson, a seven-time NASCAR Cup champion and former IndyCar driver, will drive the IndyCar two-seater with NFL legend Tom Brady at the Indianapolis 500. This specially designed two-seater has hosted VIP guests like Alex Rodriguez, Lady Gaga, and Mark Wahlberg in the past. Johnson and Brady will lead the parade laps for the 109th running of the Indy 500. Johnson shared his excitement, stating that the ‘500’ has an unmatched energy and he’s honored to be a part of the event.

After their Indy 500 appearance, Johnson will head to the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway for his 700th NASCAR Cup Series start. As a part-time competitor and co-owner at Legacy Motor Club, Johnson’s last race was a third-place finish at the Daytona 500. While Johnson will aim for success at the Coca-Cola 600, fellow NASCAR champion Kyle Larson will attempt the ‘Double’ by racing in both the Indy 500 and the NASCAR event on the same day.
