Revving Up History: Toyota Commemorates Le Mans 24 Hours Project Anniversary With Special Livery

Toyota will celebrate the 40th anniversary of its first factory-supported Le Mans assault with a special livery for this year’s race.

The #7 Toyota GR010 HYBRID Le Mans Hypercar will run in a color scheme paying tribute to the marque’s GT-One from the late 1990s.

The GT-One, developed in Cologne, was Toyota’s first Le Mans contender, and its distinctive red and white livery has inspired the new design.

The livery of the #7 GR010 is inspired by the GT-Ones from the 1998 season, featuring red and white colors with dynamic flashes.

Toyota’s Le Mans history dates back to 1985, with 61 entries, five overall wins, 18 podiums, and eight pole positions.

In this year’s race, the #8 Toyota will compete in its regular WEC livery, with the #7 paying homage to the GT-One legacy.
