“Ferrari secured their third consecutive victory in this season’s World Endurance Championship at the Spa 6 Hours, with James Calado, Antonio Giovinazzi, and Alessandro Pier Guidi emerging as the winning trio. The intense race saw the second Ferrari claiming a strong position after a safety car period, ultimately overtaking its sister car for the lead. Despite the stiff competition from Alpine, BMW, and Peugeot, Ferrari managed to maintain a dominant performance throughout the race. The strategic decisions diverged for the two Ferraris in the final hour, with Pier Guidi opting for an aggressive push while his teammate, Nielsen, focused on fuel saving. Ferrari’s calculated moves and excellent performance in the closing stages secured them the top two spots on the podium, with Alpine finishing third. Toyota claimed the fourth position, followed by the Jota Cadillacs in fifth and sixth place.”
