Singapore GP committed to reducing carbon emissions

According to a report by Blackbook Motorsport, last year’s Singapore Grand Prix produced 2,372 tonnes of carbon dioxide. The organizers of the event aim to reduce this figure by over 50% by 2028, the final year of the current contract. They plan to achieve this by replacing diesel with hydrotreated vegetable oil as the fuel for generators powering the event.
