Max Verstappen has given his take of the raft of rule changes being made to F1’s technical regulations.
Max Verstappen believes that the major technical changes for the Miami Grand Prix are just scratching the surface of the necessary improvements in F1. Despite his dissatisfaction with the 2026 regulations, he clarified that his concerns are not solely due to his team’s performance struggles. The FIA, in collaboration with teams and drivers, has agreed on adjustments to address issues from previous races, such as allowing super-clipping up to 350kw and reducing energy harvesting to 7MJ. Verstappen acknowledged the positive steps taken but emphasized the need for further driver input in shaping F1’s future. He hopes for more substantial changes in the upcoming seasons to enhance the sport for both present and future drivers.
