Alex Palou secured pole position for the 2026 Indianapolis 500 with an average speed of 232.348 mph during his final four-lap run. He beat Alex Rossi to claim his second pole for the race happening on May 24th. Qualifying had to be condensed into Sunday due to bad weather on Saturday. Felix Rosenqvist was expecting a good result but ended up in fourth place behind David Malukas. Santino Ferrucci finished fifth with Pato O’Ward in sixth. Palou is the defending champion, while Rossi aims for a second win, a decade after his remarkable rookie victory. See the full results below!
