The Invicta Racing driver secured his first pole position at the Sakhir-based circuit but was later disqualified due to a technical irregularity found in his car’s floor during inspections. As a result, all of Maini’s qualifying times were voided, and he will start from the back of the grid for both the Sprint and Feature races this weekend. Maini’s teammate Gabriel Bortoleto now takes the pole position, with Isack Hadjar from Campos Racing moving up to the front row. This decision also led to Jak Crawford from DAMS being promoted to the reverse Sprint pole position in 10th place in the qualifying classification.
