IMSA champ Jack Hawskworth to make NASCAR Truck debut at COTA
The Lexus factory driver made his NASCAR debut in the Mid-Ohio Xfinity race in 2019, finishing 15th. He will now make his NASCAR Truck Series debut for TRICON Garage, driving the No. 1 Toyota Tundra at COTA on March 23, with Mobil 1 as the primary sponsor. Hawksworth expressed his excitement about joining TRICON Garage and racing at COTA, praising the team and sponsors for their support. As the reigning IMSA GTD PRO Champion, he has a successful track record in sports car racing and IndyCar, with nine victories and nearly 50 starts in IMSA, as well as three Indy 500 appearances and one podium in IndyCar.
