Binder “had my bike back” in Jerez MotoGP practice breakthrough
The South African rider started the season well in Qatar, securing podium finishes in the sprint and grand prix, but hasn’t been able to replicate that success since. In America, changes in set-up didn’t go as planned, leading to a disappointing performance in qualifying and a ninth-place finish in the race. Despite a crash in practice at Jerez, Binder expressed that adjustments on the front end of his bike have significantly improved his confidence and feeling on track. He described the changes as making him more comfortable and allowing him to ride with more confidence in braking and entry. Despite the setback of the crash, Binder considered it one of his best days of the year and was optimistic about the overall performance improvement. However, he emphasized his luck in walking away from the incident with only a minor foot injury and acknowledged that it had cost him a spot in Q2.
