Red Bull have been urged to drop Sergio Perez in favour of signing Valtteri Bottas as Max Verstappen’s next F1 teammate.
According to F1 pundit Peter Windsor, Valtteri Bottas could be the ideal partner for Max Verstappen at Red Bull. Windsor believes Sergio Perez’s struggles and lack of adaptability make him a questionable choice for the team. He suggests that Carlos Sainz, Mick Schumacher, Liam Lawson, Nico Hulkenberg, and even Daniel Ricciardo would be good options as well. However, he believes Bottas, who has a good pedigree and is quieter than Perez, would be the best fit. Windsor suggests that Red Bull should make an offer to Bottas for a two-year deal.
