Norris fearlessly embraces Aston challenge: Ready to shake up the racing scene like never before

Lando Norris says it’s been only a matter of time before Aston Martin “had a better race” after they closed in on McLaren in the F1 constructors’ championship.

Aston Martin’s strong performance at the Las Vegas Grand Prix narrowed the gap between them and McLaren for fourth place in the constructors’ standings to just 11 points. Aston Martin had been leading comfortably in the battle for fourth until the summer break, but McLaren’s resurgence, with Norris often challenging Verstappen, pushed them ahead. Although Aston Martin has shown signs of improvement, they might be running out of time with only one race left. Looking ahead to the upcoming race, Norris expressed his fondness for the track and his confidence in their performance. Norris is also engaged in a close fight for fourth place in the drivers’ championship, sitting five points behind Sainz and Alonso. While Norris acknowledges that finishing ahead would be a bonus, he emphasizes that the championship is not his primary focus.
